HOW TO BACK UP ROM OF EVERY ANDROID PHONE (*ROOT)

TWRP

Backing up of Rom is to be done by all root users. Why? The reason being,  after rooting your device you might be overwhelmed by the freedom you now have so much that you might end up over tweaking something which might render your device to brick,  stay in boot loop, slow down and overheat. Rom tester's should also back up Rom.

Now! Requirements for backing up Rom:
1.Rooted phone
2. Superuser( superuser should be installed for permission to be granted to Rom manager)
3. Rom manager (Pro)>>  download Pro version  Here

Steps

1. Open Rom Manager, you should be met with a Recovery setup screen.

2. Tab on Team Win Recover Project (TWRP). Supported phones will be listed ... but don't worry if your's not listed. Tap on "Device not listed above", it will install Rocovery mod.

3. Go back to the home screen and. Tap on "back up current Rom to sd " . A file name will appear change it if you wish* ( some devices will boot straight in to recovery mod without this)

4. Press ok and boot into recovery mod. Now navigate to "backup and restore"'then select. Use volume up and volume down to navigate, use end to select.

5. Navigate to the preferred backup location ( sd or internal memory) and select. Backup should commence instantly.

6. Select Reboot to boot the phone out of recovery mod.

N.B:

I. The Rom manager log should be in the back ground when booted into recovery mod. This show you were successful in installing Rom manager
II. If you get an error in backing up it may mean your memory is full. Check it, delete some stuff and start over again or just boot into recovery mod and start from 4.

Thank you for reading ... HAVE FUN TWEAKING YOUR ROM.
